Your half-day tour of the Amalfi Coast allows you to visit two locations of your choice among Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello in approximately 4 hours, to give you an overview of the coastline.
One renowned tourist destination is Sorrento, which has been a stop on the Grand Tour since ancient times, renowned for its scenic beauty and strategic position offering enjoyable excursions year-round. Don't miss the visit to the Correale Museum and the famous San Francesco Cloister adjacent to the Villa Comunale, which offers a panoramic terrace overlooking the Gulf of Naples.
Positano always presents a breathtaking scenery with its characteristic arrangement of colorful houses climbing up the mountain, its charming alleys, small shops, and artisan workshops. Of considerable artistic and cultural interest is the Roman Archaeological Museum (M.A.R.), an archaeological site of a Roman residential villa discovered beneath the Church of Santa Maria Assunta with its famous maiolica dome.
A visit to Amalfi, an ancient Maritime Republic, cannot overlook the majestic Cathedral of St. Andrew and the ancient paper mills linked to the precious production of Amalfi paper. Particularly interesting are the Arsenals where the great galleys of the military fleet were built.
If your choice falls on Ravello, you'll enjoy some of the most picturesque panoramas of the Coast. A visit to Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone will treat your eyes to a unique spectacle, where you can stroll through the splendid gardens or gaze out from the marvelous Terrace of Infinity: it will be a memorable experience.
